Refunds & Cancellations

1. Overview
At Sites by Steven (the "Designer"), I strive to provide high-quality web design and digital services to all clients (the "Client"). Due to the nature of my work, I have established the following refund and cancellation policies to ensure clarity and fairness for both parties.
2. Deposits & Payments

Website Only Plans: Require a $400 non-refundable deposit to begin work, with the remaining balance due upon project completion before the website is made live.

GBP Optimization Only and Website + GBP Bundle Plans: Require a 50% non-refundable deposit before work begins, with the remaining balance due before final optimizations are applied.

Payments must be made via Cash, Debit, Credit, Bank Transfer, or Check.

Late payments may result in project delays or suspension of services until payment is received.
3. Project Cancellations by the Client

Clients may cancel a project at any time.

If a project is canceled before any work has started, the deposit will be refunded in full.

Website Only Plans: The $400 deposit is non-refundable once work has started.

GBP Optimization & Website + GBP Bundle Plans: The 50% deposit is non-refundable once work has started, as it covers research, profile setup, website setup, and initial optimizations.

For restaurant clients, if menu input or formatting has already begun at the time of cancellation, the cost of that work will not be refunded, even if other portions of the project qualify for a refund.
4. Project Cancellations by Sites by Steven
The Designer reserves the right to cancel a project due to unforeseen circumstances, uncooperative clients, or failure to provide required materials.

If the Designer cancels before work has begun, a full refund will be issued.

If cancellation occurs after work has started, a partial refund may be issued based on completed work.
5. Revisions & Edits

Clients are entitled to three rounds of revisions unless otherwise stated.

Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope will incur an extra charge of $50 per revision. Bulk pricing is available:

3 additional revisions for $120 (save $30)

5 additional revisions for $175 (save $75)

For restaurant clients, menu formatting revisions are included in the allotted revision rounds. Any additional menu modifications after final approval may require additional fees.
6. No Refunds After Project Completion

Once a project is completed and delivered, no refunds will be issued.

Clients are encouraged to review progress and provide feedback throughout the process to ensure satisfaction before project completion.
7. Exceptional Cases

Refund requests outside of these policies will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, but approval is not guaranteed.
